Below are organizations doing the work of providing alternative therapies, encouraging self-care, reinforcing community, and offering varied services. We know mental wellness is not one-size-fits-all and we know we are stronger together.
Warriors Next AdventureWarriors Next Adventure's mission is to help veterans overcome PTSD through recreational therapy and new adventures. We strive to help veterans take the power from their past and give it to their future by talking about your past utilizing the vulnerability of conversation. We do this by taking veterans on adventures such as mountain climbing, playing with wolves, training Jiu-jitsu, dirt track racing and more. We put veterans in a vulnerable state so we can help them become the best version of themselves. Rekindling the sense of purpose and rebuilding the camaraderie we desire from our military service. Only you have the power to heal and we are here to help you find that power.
